Launch of Digital Rights Management Blockchain business
Help a small start-up to raise money via an ICO to enable them to launch their Digital Rights Management products, based on distributed hash tables. The aim was to help solve digital piracy issues for artists and creators of digital content.
Having worked at Sony, myself and a few colleagues decided to pursue a dream to set up a company using blockchain tech. We leveraged our network and had a team of advisors from Ernst & Young, PlayStation, Huawei, Fidelity, Paramount Pictures and other relvant companies.
We developed the concept, had a working product and were ready to raise capital to start work, however the decline of the crypto-currency market by 95% that year meant we made the decision not to continue to pursue this idea.
We had a global x-fucntional team of advisors and staff that comprised of:
- 1 x Product owners (UK)
- 1 x Sponsor (Thailand)
- 1 x frontend developers (UK)
- 1 x QA lead frontend (UK)
- 2 x blockchain developers (Turkey/Iran)
- 1 x UX/UI designer (UK)
- 1 x brand marketing lead (Thailand)
- 10 x advisors/experts (all across the globe)
