Manage the Development and Launch of a Global B2B Portal for Sony Mobile

Brief

Help Sony to capitalize on B2B market opportunities with their mobile products and services. To enable that, I managed the creation of a B2B website, and its translation and role out in 33 languages. I then owned and managed those products for 4 years, creating and managing marketing, as well as managing stakeholder expectations.

Background

Sony had spotted an opportunity to enter the B2B market with their mobile devices and services. This was a move into a new market that required careful stakeholder management and change management. The result was that we grew the sales, marketing and developer teams. Gross sales per year, after the first year of development, were consistently over £5 million.
